DIY boilies

I am keen to start producing low cost effective freezer baits that will catch fish ! My first attempt was a disaster so far! I used tempura batter instead of just cornflour, well , whilst boiling my nicely rolled lumps of red paste, they ended up more Luke some dumpling type affair. The recipe was flour, cornflour , cod liver oil pills , pinapple bolie flavouring. Better luck next time !!! We will see how they do on the hook ??
