24 Hour Session At Lodge Pond, Alice Holt. July2011

Well, It was a Wet and miserable start to to the session, so much so so that the first hour was spent setting up the bivvy in the rain, and then sheltering in the bivvy. Needless to say I got the rods out. The first Rod, Cast out for 20 mins, and then decided to attach an old Pva stick from the last trip, well....after 15 or so mins of it being in the water on the second cast of the day. I was In, the was a strike was good and the fight was a good one. It was only 5.5 lb But a lovely fish.
