I was using a 15 lb fox comolon line tied to a quick link attached to a brown leadcore through to a brown lead clip system with a 2 ounce camo lead , then attached to a 7 inch hook length tied with a brown coated braid .the hook was a korda wide gape size 8 with a rig ring and shrink tube a short hair and 2 small prices of nash tt rig putty ,the bait that did the trick was a superb home made boilie made by "Reflex" baits with a pva stick with 4 chopped Boilies . I saw a few fish rolling and new it was a fish producing bay so cast to the opposite bank , I managed to drop my bait around 4 inches of a fallen tree in the water . Only after around 5 mins I has my 8 lb linear carp the other carp was on the same rig but a bloodworm and scopex boilie made by another friend fished to open water
